Andrés joined Plusmining in 2023 as head of the Mining Industry Analysis area. His responsibilities include the study of the mining industry at the national and regional level, including the continuous analysis of projects and operations, their development prospects, production projections and analysis of regulatory impacts, among others. Likewise, he also works in various consulting studies requested by national and international clients.
Prior to joining Plusmining, Andrés worked for six years in the Studies Department at the Chilean Copper Commission, where he carried out research studies on various mining topics, including tax competitiveness, use of critical inputs, analysis of operational costs, innovation and constant analysis of the lithium market.
Andrés is a Business Administrator from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a Master's Degree in Economic Analysis from the University of Chile and a Diploma in Big Data from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
